Chris Jarrard- President and CEO

Chris is a long time resident of Denton, Texas and graduated from Denton High School before joining the U. S. Army.  Upon fulfilling his military obligations, Chris enrolled at the University of North Texas where he graduated with a degree in Transportation and Logistics.  Chris has spent the past seventeen years in a variety of leadership positions within the transportation and logistics industries at Raytheon, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and American Airlines before joining his business partners in the acquisitions of Gotta Go Trailways and Buses By Bill.  His primary responsibilities at Echo are to oversee operations, maintenance, training, driver development, safety and compliance along with day to day corporate management.  Echo’s safety and compliance scores have continued to improve since Chris has assumed these responsibilities and his primary goal is to have the best well trained professional motorcoach operators in the industry.  In addition to his role within Echo, Chris plays an important part of the Strategic Committee for the Trailways organization.  Chris resides in North Texas and is married with three children.    
Tanner West- Chief Financial Officer

Tanner grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Transportation and Logistics.  Upon graduating Tanner worked as a transportation analyst for a multi-national industrial products company. He later transitioned into a financial analyst role while completing his Masters in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.  In 2010 Tanner entered entrepreneurial role in where he was responsible for growing and operating Echo Company’s first venture located in the Oil & Gas fields of Colorado and Wyoming.  Currently, Tanner is responsible for the financial management and involved in the strategic decisions of Echo Company’s as the organization operationalizes its long-term growth plan. 
Thom Fox- Chief Commercial Officer

Thom graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Transportation and Logistics. Thom has managed sales and customer service programs for a variety of companies for more than fifteen years.  He is passionate about delivering the entire customer service package to his clients and partners.  He believes in listening to their needs and translating them into services when possible.  Echo Companies has experienced tremendous growth year over year under his direction. In addition to managing the strategic growth for Echo Companies, Thom works with the North Texas community where he is responsible for the charitable and non-profit support that Echo Companies provides as a core part of its values.  He is an anchor in the Fort Worth community where he sits on the Fort Worth Public Library Foundation Board as well as the Catholic Charities Vocational Board.   Thom currently resides in Ft. Worth, Texas where his wife is an Associate at Decker Jones Law Firm and they have a five year old son Taggart. 

Tony Johnson - Chief Operating Officer 

Tony Johnson grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a degree in Geography and Urban Planning.  Tony started his transportation career as a DOT Management Intern at Charlotte Area Transit System.   He later joined the Fort Worth Transportation Authority as its Director of Operations, before being promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.   At Echo Tony will serve as the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for delivering safe and reliable Shuttle and Charter Bus Transportation.  Tony has primary management responsibility for Operations, Safety and Training, Human Resources, Customer Service and the people that work at Echo. 

Gary Woods- Vice President – Sales & Service 

Gary was raised in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University. After graduation, he fulfilled his military obligation and served one tour of duty in Korea. Upon completing his military duty, he and his wife, Vicki, moved from west Texas to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where they settled and raised their two daughters. Gary began his hospitality career in 1980 as a part time motor coach operator; later to become General Manager of two Dallas based motor coach companies. Gary held positions with the two major cities convention and visitors’ bureaus, and prior to joining Echo Companies he was Transportation Manager at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. Gary joined the Echo Team as their Vice President of Sales and Service in 2013. In his role, Gary is responsible for developing plans and strategies for promoting business and achieving the company’s sales goals while providing the highest level of customer service.

Mark Santoyo - Vice President-Fleet Maintenance

Mark was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated High School in El Paso, TX. He attended The University of Texas at El Paso and completed his degree at The University of Phoenix, where he received a degree in Business Administration in 2007. He was active in the Naval Reserves from 1997-2005, and was called into active duty in 2002 with his F/A 18 squadron where he served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  His work experience consists of over 25 years in maintenance that includes jobs with several motor coach companies such as Greyhound, MCI , Coach America and most recently ABC companies. Mark came to work for Echo in 2014 and holds the position of Vice President of Fleet Maintenance. His primary job duties include overseeing all fleet maintenance repairs, preventative maintenance programs, parts, upgrades, analyzing, and working to ensure proper maintenance is conducted. In his free time, Mark enjoys restoring classic vehicles, playing soccer, as well as coaching, and participating in church activities. He and his family reside in Dallas.”  

Bobby Safley - Operations Manager, Central Texas

Bobby was born and raised in Waco, Texas where he continues to reside today.  He has one beautiful daughter, Kristi.

Bobby attended Tarleton State University where he focused on public education.  While still in the field of education, he began driving a charter bus.  During the summer of 1989, he began a new career knowing he was completely hooked on the travel industry.  Working his way through Greyhound and the Trailways network, Bobby found himself in the position of VP/General Manager of a local Trailways organization.  Later, he developed his own company, Brazos Valley Travel.

Today, after more than twenty five years, Bobby still has a passion for travel and the motorcoach industry.  Some of his other interests are music and antiques.  Besides continuing in the position of church organist, Bobby focuses his attention on Echo’s development and day to day operations in the Central Texas area.

Valerie Rodriguez, Director of Shuttle Programs

Valerie has been in ground transportation for over 7 years, including over 15 years of the Hospitality Industry & Convention Sales Management experience

Valerie is committed to quality service and maintaining relationships with our clients.

She is a Dallas native, and has been with Echo since 2014

Billy Williams

Prior to going into the bus industry I was in the US Navy for 6 years and the National Guard for 2 years.After leaving the Navy I worked as a Police Officer in Tyler, Tx and a Deputy Sheriff for Smith, Co TxI have been in the bus industry since 1980. I have worked for Central Texas Bus Lines, Kerrville Bus Co. and Lone Star Trailways. I have been a driver, dispatcher and worked charter quotes. I also worked as a driver instructor for Kerrville Bus Co. My family was in the bus industry for nearly 50 years.
